STRONG DELUSION

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

On the LAMB SLAIN page we found that Islam is a stand-alone anti-Judeo/Christian religion based on the 23 year record of the recitations of unwitnessed "revelations" of a seventh century illiterate prophet, manifest in pillage, plunder, and sexual enslavement of women taken as spoils of imperialistic bloody conquest.

Sura 33:50-51 - O prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war ... this only for thee, and not for believers [at large]; we know what we have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hand possess...

Islam is antichrist as the related verses below expose.

The Quran instructs: Sura 8:12 I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them

The Bible instructs of the new covenant through Jesus christ: Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Islam rejects the Son of God, rejects the Holy Ghost, rejects Jesus bodily resurrection, and even rejects that Jesus died on the Cross in spite of the historical evidence to the contrary. Rejecting that he died on the Cross to save us from our sins they reject the new covenant and the doctrine of Jesus Christ.

On that video we read from Old Testament prophecy (exerpted):

Psalms 22:16 ...they pierced my hands and my feet.
Zechariah 12:9 ... and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced...

In the New Testament John accounts:

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

After Jesus was resurrected we find a doubting Thomas:

John 20:24  But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

A little later Jesus shows up:

John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust [it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Again the opposite - the counterfeit - directly contradicting Jesus resurrected flesh and bone body, from the founding verses of The Dome of the Rock: O you People of the Book, overstep not bounds in your religion, and of God speak only the truth.  The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, is only an apostle of God, and his Word which he conveyed unto Mary, and a Spirit proceeding from him.  Believe therefore in God and his apostles, and say not Three.  It will be better for you.  God is only one God.  Far be it from His transcendent majesty that he should have a son.

Surah 9:30 The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (In this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

The one of the Quran cannot be the God of the bible because he curses the Christians and Jews for believing in the Son. Were it the same God he would seem both schizophrenic and bi-polar.

1 John 2:22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].

In Thessalonians we read of the latter times:

2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

We can only wonder as to what "strong delusion" is being suggested that God sends to those who received not the love of the truth, and particularly as to what "a lie" like that might be.

Islam is an obvious shoe-in, being antichrist. When we consider "[Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan..." their antichrist false prophet well qualifies as the individual in this role.

Earlier in the passage we are told "that man of sin" will be revealed, and that he sitteth in the "temple of god", which is the individual and corporate body of Christ (see Man of Sin video). Does the strong delusion that is sent necessarily exclude it being sent to the apostate church, and Christian posers, those unregenerate, who have no time for the truth of God's Word but instead conform their churches to the world, rather than putting their effort into the reverse?

May God have had enough of a church that abandoned the quest for the truth, characterized by the reformation, in favor of doctrine?  A church in the mold of a generation of vipers before them:

Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Repentence is about loving what God loves, and hating what God hates. Including a love of the truth and a hatred for nicolaitionism. (victory over the people/laity)

Christians find comfort through the truth of God's Word, made flesh:

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus IS THE TRUTH.

In the figurative language of the book of Revelation we read:

Revelation 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

While written in the figurative language of a prophetic vision, it doesn't seem to spell a picnic.

We explored the Islamic Empire "beast" in it's own video. Perhaps Muslims can see the above verse more easily than a church that is lost in a fog of unsound eschatological tradition. One in every 7 to 10 verses in the Quran regard hell. Muslims get hell talk.

Reading the above some will quickly claim that Mohammed never performed a single miracle - unlike the prophets of the bible - which is true, but that fails to get a sense of the Greek:

miracles
New Testament Greek Definition:
4592 semeion {say-mi'-on}
from a presumed derivative of the base of 4591; TDNT - 7:200,1015; n n
AV - sign 50, miracle 23, wonder 3, token 1; 77
1) a sign, mark, token
1a) that by which a person or a thing is distinguished from others and is known

Clearly Mohammed distinguished himself from others, and is known unto today, through his book that he wrought.

The bible further instructs:

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  8  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

From "Infidel" Ali explains part of salat, "You say Praise be to Allah thirty-three times; God forgive me thirty-three times; Allah is great thirty-three times; and then, if you choose, you may also say Gratitude to Allah."
That's a total of 495 repetitions of just those first three prayers - every day - because Muslims are commanded to perform salat fives times a day.

Good works are the result of repentence and salvation, not the path to it. That would be labor in vain.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Here is THE TRUTH:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light. 9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Why not come into the light of the truth and the love of the one true God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?

1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship [is] with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
